The Rave Mandala is the wheel that ties a bodygraph to the sky. The 64 gates are laid around the same 360 degree circle that astrology divides into twelve signs, so every planetary position lands in a gate, a line, and also a zodiac sign. Each gate occupies 5.625 degrees, which is 5 degrees 37 minutes and 30 seconds, and each of its six lines occupies 56 minutes and 15 seconds. The sequence is anchored at gate 41, which begins at 2 degrees of Aquarius. The Sun's arrival there is what Human Design calls the Rave New Year.

Provenance: written 22 August 2026. Replaces twelve per-sign entries that were drafted and deliberately not published: Human Design does not read character from a sun sign, so twelve retrievable sun-sign entries would have made the wrong question easier to answer. Step size and the gate 41 anchor corroborated across Jovian Archive (Rave New Year) and independent degree tables, and the anchor is consistent with our own engine, which places gate 41 in Aquarius across 7,037 activations. The one sign per gate behaviour was derived from our own chart data: all 64 gates return exactly one sign across roughly 800,000 activations. UNRESOLVED and deliberately not asserted here: Jovian Archive's gates and hexagrams page states that a Sun at 10 degrees Aries activates gate 25, while every degree table consulted puts 10 degrees Aries in gate 21. Our engine maps both gates to Aries so it cannot settle it. Flagged for a ruling. Not yet reviewed by a certified practitioner.
