Wait a lunar cycle is the Reflector strategy, and Reflectors are the rarest of the four types. It asks that any decision of consequence sit for a full lunar cycle, roughly 28 to 29 days, before it is answered. That is one complete transit of the Moon through the whole wheel of gates. Across that month the Moon defines a Reflector's chart differently every day or two, so the same decision is seen from a full range of positions rather than from the mood of one afternoon.

Provenance: researched and cross-checked 22 August 2026 against Jovian Archive and humdes.com Sources: https://www.jovianarchive.com/Human_Design/Types; https://jovianarchive.com/pages/type-and-strategy-in-human-design; https://jovianarchive.com/pages/reflector-human-design; https://www.humdes.com/en/kb/types/reflector/ Noted at time of writing: Sources disagree on the exact cycle length. Jovian Archive's Type overview says about 28 days and humdes.com states 28 days explicitly; Jovian Archive's own Reflector page says 29.5 days, which is the synodic month from new moon to new moon rather than the Moon's transit of the wheel. Because two of the three say 28 and the figures are close, the entry states "roughly 28 to 29 days" and does not commit to a single number. If the app needs one number for a countdown or a UI label, that is a decision to make deliberately rather than to infer from this entry, and 28 days is the better supported figure.
