The Heart, also called the Ego or Will centre, is the small motor behind willpower, self worth, and the making and keeping of promises. It is completely open when no gate in it is activated at all, so there is no consistent willpower to draw on and no fixed sense of your own value. You take in and amplify other people's drive, their competitiveness and their measures of worth. Borrowed willpower arrives strongly and leaves without warning, which is usually experienced as a personal failing rather than as mechanics.

- Distinguished_from_undefined
- An undefined Heart has an activated gate giving something consistent to hold on to. A completely open Heart has none, so there is no internal yardstick and another person's measure of worth becomes the measure by default.
