          Zacarias Moussaoui's Biography

French terrorist, implicated in the strike against U.S.A. on 9/11/2001. In the first indictment directly related to the terrorist attacks, a federal grand jury named Moussaoui with conspiracy to commit murder and terrorist acts in the al-Qaida hijackings that killed thousands. The six-count indictment alleges that he trained at al-Qaida camps in Afghanistan, got flight training the U.S. and was part of a plot with the 19 men who hi-jacked four jet-liners, crashing two of them into World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and one into a field in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001..
Moussaoui is a Frenchman of Moroccan descent who fell under the influence of radical Islam in the mid-’90s while attending business school in England. As early as 1994, a French magistrate warned British intelligence about a young radical named “Zacarias.” In August 2001, a flight instructor at the Pan Am Flight Academy in Eagan, MN called the FBI terrorist unit to report that a new student had paid the $6,200 tuition in cash and his interest in flying a big plane seemed odd since it was obvious that he was not familiar with even a single-engine Cessna. Upon checking his credentials, FBI agents found that his visa had expired and they detained him on 8/17/2001 to investigate further. It is suspected that he was the missing last member of the five-man teams. At the end of his trial, jurors rejected the death penalty, and he was sentenced to life imprisonment at a maximum security prison in Florence, Colorado
