Polish geologist, metallurgist, oilman, philanthropist of Polish science, father kerosene Baku.
After studying at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Warsaw Main School (now the University of Warsaw) and the Institute of Mining (Russian. ?????? ????????) in St. Petersburg, where he graduated with a first deposit, he worked in the mines in Suchedniowie Polish Kingdom (1875) and steel plants in Mroczkowie (1876-1884), where he was involved in the operation and modernization of blast furnaces for smelting iron. Over the next six years (1884-1890) led the private ironworks until 1890 he was employed in the Board of Mining in Riga, and the refusal to accept the position of chief engineer of the Donetsk District mine, started to work in Baku (now Azerbaijan), where he remained until his death.
He died 6 July 1904.
