          Willibald Fritsch's Biography

          German sculptor, who lived and worked in Charlottenburg, and exhibited his portrait busts and small bronzes, such as those of German Empress Auguste Victoria and Crown Prince Wilhelm, at the 1900 Berlin art exhibition. Fritsch later created monuments such as the Grabenseedenkmal in Hanover (1919), the Rennreiter monument in Berlin-Karlshorst (1925), the Georg von Lehndorff-Herme in Hoppegarten near Berlin, and an equestrian statue of Prince Sigismund of Prussia in Klein Flottbek Hamburg. Willibald Fritsch died on July 1948 in Berlin-Charlottenburg, aged 72.
