          William Eythe's Biography

          American actor with international work from youth on stage and screen, along with a career in radio and television. He played in Canada and on Broadway in The Moon is Down, leading to a movie test. His films include The Ox-Bow Incident (1943), Song of Bernadette (1943) and Centennial Summer (1946).
          Eythe married actress Buff Cobb in 1947 and they divorced in 1949. He had a long-time relationship with actor Lon McCallister. They toured the world producing films for the Hilton Hotel chain. Eythe died on 26 January 1957 at age 38 in Los Angeles, California.
