Wilhelm Ganzhorn's Human Design Chart
4/6 Splenic ProjectorGerman lawyer and court actuary in Neuenbürg as well as chief judge in Aalen, Neckarsulm and Cannstatt. Also a poet and lyricist, he is known for his 1851 song “Im schönsten Wiesengrunde” (In the most beautiful meadow). The melody of “Gi Talo Gi Halom Tasi” (In the Middle of the Sea), which is the regional anthem of the Northern Mariana Islands, is based on it.
In January 1841 he published the “Swabian Folk Song Book” containing about 200 songs that Ganzhorn had collected and put together. The songwriters included Ludwig Uhland, Justinus Kerner and Friedrich Schiller. Many of these songs are still sung today, which speaks for the quality of the selection.
Ganzhorn loved to travel. He made trips to Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and France in July 1843 and summer 1844. In later years after 1850, he made at least one extensive trip almost every year, visiting many European countries, including Italy, Switzerland and Austria. It can be assumed that he has visited all of the world exhibitions in Europe that were held during his lifetime.
In July 1880 Ganzhorn made a trip to Italy and then to Düsseldorf, from where he returned with ailing health. He died of pneumonia on 9 September 1880 at age 62 in Cannstatt.
