Walter Wink (May 21, 1935 – May 10, 2012) was an influential American biblical scholar, theologian, and activist recognized as a pivotal figure in Progressive Christianity. Born in Dallas, Texas, Wink’s life and work were deeply informed by his Human Design, specifically as a Manifesting Generator with Emotional Inner Authority. Wink dedicated much of his professional life to teaching at Auburn Theological Seminary in New York City, where he inspired countless students and activists.
