Trey Helliwell's Human Design Chart

4/6 Emotional Manifestor

American impresario, a rock promoter. Helliwell and two others were killed in an apartment above the Carnegie Deli in New York City on 5/10/2001 in what appeared to be a burglary gone wrong. Andre S. Smith, a 30-year-old ex-convict on parole, was charged with the triple murder. Smith’s colleague was 19-year-old Sean Salley, who also had a rap sheet for violent crime. The victims were Helliwell, Jennifer Stahl, a suspected marijuana dealer and musician Stephen King, 42. Two others were wounded: Dana Rosemond, 36, Helliwell’s girlfriend and Tony Weaver, 37, a New York hair stylist.
According to police, Smith confessed to breaking into Stahl’s apartment and tying up the victims. Salley was waving his gun around when he accidentally shot Stahl in the forehead. The two then decided to shoot the other people to prevent them from testifying as witnesses.
Trey (whose nickname comes from being the third Charles in the family) is the son of an MIT lecturer and grew up in Dover with two sisters. He spent summers at his family home in Harwich Port and was an active sailor and fisherman all his life.
Though his love for music and the music scene was lifetime since attending the annual jazz and heritage festivals and he called New Orleans his second home, Trey was as a matter of fact moving away from the music business to spend more time on sailing and the charter boat business. He was known for his presence, a good-looking man who liked to put the entertainment packages together and make things happen. At the time of his death, he just happened to be in the wrong place. The killers were identified by a surveillance camera at the entry of the building.
