Norwegian chemical engineer. He was the first professor, 1949-1965, at the Institute for Chemical Engineering at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, the first educational institution in Norway to offer higher education in chemical engineering. He was head of Norsk Hydro’s science park 1965-1979.
Terjesen died on 1 March 2005 in Porsgrunn, Norway, aged 90.
