          Susan DeAngelo's Biography

American criminal and the daughter of a convicted criminal, Susan was arrested on 10/10/2002 on charges of robbing a bank two weeks earlier in Quincy, MA. Everett police also plan to charge her with a bank robbery, and other police departments and the FBI have nicknamed her Charlestown’s Bonnie (after Bonnie Parker of Bonnie and Clyde fame). Her style is described as “cool, calm, sometimes armed and always brazen.” She pleaded innocent and is awaiting trial, but doesn’t deny that she is a tough person who can take care of herself by fighting if necessary. She has since her arrest gone through detox for a heroin addiction and gained some much needed weight for her 5-foot frame. DeAngelo quit school in fifth grade and instead admits she “chose the streets.” She married in 1994 but split up a few months later; she subsequently became involved with another man and had two sons. She became hooked on heroin, however, and along with the father of her children, she was convicted of robbing a CVS store in 1993 (she drove the getaway car, and her five-year sentence was suspended). Since then she has been arrested 16 times on charges ranging from trespassing to armed robbery and has served time in prison.
