          Stephen Daley's Biography

American homicide as a result of a furious temper that went out of control. He was from a nice middle-class family with no prior police record or record of drinking or drugs and was holding a job at Kentucky Fried Chicken,
At age 18, he and two pals were driving along main street on a Friday night. They drove up behind Tyrell, a pedestrian with whom they had no acquaintance, and beeped their horn at him. Tyrell jumped and lurched onto the hood of the car, breaking off the car radio antenna. He regained his footing and resumed walking along the street. Daley became so enraged about his broken antenna that he went home and got a baseball bat from the shed and with his friends still in the car, began driving around looking for Tyrell.
Daley spotted Tyrell walking on Lincoln street. It was snowing, a spring blizzard. Daley got out of the car and hit Tyrell from behind with the bat, then beat him with three more blows. He ran away, fleeing in panic through nearby woods where he dropped the bat.
Tyrell was found lying on Lincoln Street shortly after midnight, 3/13/1993. He was taken to the hospital where he died around 4:00 AM, Franklin, MA.
Daley was indicted and faced trial for murder.
