Belgian actor who made his debut in 1951 at the Théâtre royal du Parc in Brussels in C’est un vagabond by Renée and Gabriel Arout. In 1953, he performed for the first time at the National Theatre of Belgium in À quoi rêvent les jeunes filles by Alfred de Musset. In 1964 he returned to the Théâtre royal du Parc for three seasons and in 1967 he appeared at the Rideau in Brussels in Alfred de Musset’s Fantasio. The following year, he entered the Compagnie des Galeries where he remained until his death. He appeared in many plays alongside Christiane Lenain and Jean-Pierre Loriot at the Théâtre royal des Galeries in Brussels, as well as on tour in Belgium and France.
Serge Michel was the companion of Jacques Careuil. Michel died in Brussels on 19 April 1987 at age 63.
