Riulf Rustad's Biography
Norwegian investor whose career started at the Alfred Berg brokerage house, before he established the management company Optimum in 1992. Two years later, he became investment director at Storebrand. In the autumn of 1997, Rustad was employed as head of the investment company Kistefos, which is owned by investor Christen Sveaas.
After three years at Sveeas, Rustad chose to resign to become a full-time investor on his own. Rustad currently works through his wholly owned investment company Ousdal AS. He is additionally chairman of Noreco.
Rustad has also invested in the soccer club Start in Kristiansand and has been a major contributor to Nordstrand IF’s handball investments.
