German physicist and founding director of the former X-ray institute at TH Stuttgart. At the institute, pioneering work was carried out in the material testing with X-rays, among other things, with the substantial participation of Glocker, but also in the medical-biological application of ionizing radiation.
He died on 21 January 1978 in Stuttgart.
In his honour, the German Society of Medical Physics awards the Glocker Medal.
