          Reynaldo Gianecchini's Biography

          Brazilian screen and stage actor and international fashion model of Italian ancestry who lived and worked for a couple of years in Paris, France. Since 2002 he has been the exclusive top model for Armani in Brazil.
          In 2001, he landed his first significant regular screen role in the soap opera Laços de Família. He played the role of Edu, a doctor who was romantically involved with a woman many years older than he was, played by actress Vera Fischer.
          In 1999 life imitated art when he married the singer Marília Gabriela, 24 years his senior. Her eldest son Christiano Cochrane is older than Gianecchini. The couple divorced in 2006. Gianecchini had brief romances with actress Christiane Alves and promoter Eloísa Alencar.
          Since August 2011, Gianecchini has been battling cancer (angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma) and has undergone chemotherapy treatment. In an interview with O Globo in September 2019, he stated that although he has dated both women and men, he does not identify as any sexual orientation. In September 2020, he stated that he identifies as pansexual.
