Norwegian actress who was one of the leading actresses of revue and comedy in the 1940s and 50s. She had her stage debut in 1934. Her breakthrough came in 1933 in the film “Vi som g†r kj?kkenveien” (‘We who use the kitchen/back door.’) In 1932 she was the first woman who lent her voice to the speaking clock.
She was married twice, first to actor Fridtjof Fearnley, and then to actor Frank Robert. Her sister was actress Berit Br‘nne.
Br‘nne died on 1 June 2004 in Oslo aged 93.
