          Pauline Ferrand-Prévot's Biography

          French road, cyclo-cross and cross country mountain biking racer, she won the gold medal at the 2014 World championship (road race), 19 years after Jeannie Longo, 24 years after Cathy Marsal, and 40 years after Geneviève Gambillon.
          The youngest competitor at the 2012 Olympics, she finished 8th. She won a Silver medal at the 2022 European championship. On 26 August 2022, she won a gold medal in the short-track event at the cycling world championships. Two days later, she won the gold medal in the cross-country event, her 4th world title in this category.
          During the road cycling season, she has been riding for the Dutch team Rabobank.
          Her uncle Ludovic Dubau competed at the 2000 Olympics. She lived with cyclist and two-time Olympic champion Julien Absalon until 2021.
