          Paul de Peyerimhoff de Fontenelle's Biography

          French naturalist, botanist, entomologist and zoologist, who made numerous expeditions of natural history to North Africa, donating his collections to the National Museum of Natural History of France.
          Peyerimhoff became the director of the North African Forest Research Station in Algeria from 1935 to 1937. He then was an Honorary Inspector General of the Department of Water and Forests in Algeria. During World War II (1939-1942) he was called to direct the Forest Research Station of Bois de Boulogne in Algeria.
          He died on 2 January 1957, aged 83.
