          Paul (1967) Wagner's Biography

          American pro baseball pitcher who has played for the American League for one year and the National League for eight years. After attending Illinois State, Wagner was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization in the 12th round free-agent draft pick on 5 June 1989. He was placed on the disabled list four times and did his rehabilitation in the AAA League playing for Carolina and the Gulf Coast Pirates. Wagner signed with the Milwaukee Brewers on 2 August 1997 and has made two appearances as a pinch-hitter, ’95 and ’96. Statistically he pitched a 4-0 one-hit complete-game victory over Colorado on 29 August 1995. At 6’1″, 210 lbs., Wagner throws right and bats right.
