Norwegian military officer and accomplished athlete. He competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics in modern pentathlon. At the 1928 Winter Olympics his team won gold in military patrol. During World War II he was leader of the training camp Little Norway in Canada.
Reistad died on 22 December 1949 from complications after brain surgery. He was 51.
