Michel Polonovski's Biography
French academic and trade unionist who was President of the National Federation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Higher Education and Research (FNSAESR) from 1952 to 1954.
In 1920 he became an associate professor in Lille. He held the chair of organic chemistry in 1924 and was appointed titular professor of biological chemistry at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris 1940. He was elected a member of the Biological Sciences Section of the Academy of Medicine.
He died in a car accident in Douai on 8 June 1954.
