Maximilian von Waldburg-Zeil's Biography
German Roman Catholic nobleman of the outgoing Holy Roman Empire. Maximilian was the son of Count Franz Anton von Waldburg (1714-1790) and the Countess Maria Anna Sophia (1728-1782). Maximilian was married twice. On 7 November 1774, he married in Zeil his first wife, Maria Freiin von Hornstein to Weiterdingen (1751-1797); seven children of whom three survived. On 18 February 1798 Maximilian married Bernhardine Freiin of Waldburg, Countess of Wolfegg (1772-1835); two children. He died on 16 May 1818 in Schloss Zeil.
