          Martin Fourcade's Biography

          French biathlete, cross-country skier, and non-commissioned officer. He started to compete internationally in 2006 with his brother Simon, and was a gold medalist (four times) at the 2012 and 2013 World Championships. He obtained a silver medal at the Winter Olympics (Vancouver 2010). In 2015, he won his 6th world title, 4 others in 2016 (Oslo) and 1 in 2017. Best biathlete, he won 7 world globes from 2012 to 2018. On 12 February 2018 he won the Olympic Gold medal in the Biathlon Men’s pursuit event at Pyeongchang, South Korea. On 18 February, he won his second Olympic gold medal at Pyeonchang, in the mass start. Then he won the third one with the national mixed relay!
          He won the bronze (sprint) and the gold (pursuit) his 11th title, as well as Bjorndalen, at the 2020 Worldchampionships
