They were married on 18 July 1906.
Throughout his trial and during the remaining years of his life, Guillaume Seznec never ceased to proclaim his innocence. Marie-Jeanne and his descendants, including their daughter and grandson Denis Seznec, regularly asked the court to reopen the case in order to whitewash the charges against him and obtain his rehabilitation.
