Marc Sée's Biography
French doctor of medicine (Paris, 1856) who was chief surgeon at the Ambulance de la Presse in Prussia during the war of 1870. After returning to France via Belgium, he treated more than 1200 wounded after the battle of Beaumont at Mouzon. He wrote about his experiences in Rapport sur la campagne faite par la deuxième ambulance (1871). He died on 11 February 1912, aged 84, in Paris.
