Wilhelm II (25 February 1848 – 2 October 1921) was a German monarch and field marshal who reigned as the last King of Württemberg from 6 October 1891 until the abolition of the kingdom on 30 November 1918. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was the only child of Prince Friedrich of Württemberg and Princess Katherina Friederike of Württemberg, both of whom were first cousins. Wilhelm’s lineage was steeped in royal tradition, being the grandson of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg.

In his personal life, Wilhelm married Princess Marie of Waldeck and Pyrmont on 15 February 1877.
