          Kenneth Seguin's Biography

American homicide, found guilty on 2/04/1993 of 2nd-degree murder on three counts. A computer software executive, he hated to travel with work as it took him away from his family. He resigned from Prime Computer Inc in Framington where he worked from August 1980 to August 1991 as a marketing exec; he took a job at Banyon Systems in Westborough representing computer products. He had grown up in Fitchburg, an even-tempered, home-centered local citizen.
Through early 1992, he took anti-depressants for the stress of marital problems and his thoughts of suicide. He related that he had been sexually abused as a kid by a Catholic priest. He had survived testicular cancer and partial hearing loss. In April his demons caught up with him. He was held without bail for the murder of his wife, then attempted suicide. Mary’s body was found 4/28/1992 in Sudbury River near the home where they had moved in the prior weekend. He had knife wounds at his wrist, neck and ankles and was severely depressed. The kids were missing; their bodies were found on 6/02/1992 in a Franklin pond; their throats were cut. For his trial defense, he claimed insanity.
