          Ken Irving's Biography

American writer, researcher and editor, he was with American Astrology magazine from 1974 through 2003, for which he authored several columns, including “Eye on the Nation” and “The New Astrology.” The publisher of American Astrology consolidated it with Astrology Your Daily Guide (which had been edited by Linda Generale) in 2003. The “new” magazine was re-titled American Astrology Your Daily Guide, which Irving edited together with Generale. At the end of 2003 the publisher once again renamed the magazine, this time to Horoscope Guide, which he continued to edit with Generale, except for a few months in 2004 when she was sole editor and he was contributing editor. Generale left later that year and Irving became the sole editor of Horoscope Guide, and has been the editor since that time. The magazine still retains some of the essential content of American Astrology, as well as the basic AA design and layout.
Irving has served as UAC Board President, 1999-2001, AFAN Advisor, AFAN Steering Committee 1992-1994, Correlation Editorial Board. A lecturer for NASO, ISAR, NCGR, and UAC, Irving is co-author of The Psychology of Astro*Carto*Graphy with Jim Lewis, co-author of The Tenacious Mars Effect with Suitbert Ertel, and has also authored or co-authored articles published in The Journal of Scientific Exploration, as well as in Correlation.
