          Kathleen Hogan's Biography

          American lawyer, activist and runner; she specialized in employment and labor law. Fond of sports, she played soccer and softball but was particularly fond of women’s basketball.
          Kathleen worked for the Close Up Foundation; a citizenship education program in Washington, DC. which helped kids learn about the federal government. In 1996 she earned her law degree at Northeastern and became an associate with a Boston law firm from which she segued into a position with another firm. Her philanthropy was that of a volunteer to organize sports events to raise money for children’s issues.
          On 3/17/2002, Kathleen died in a boating accident that occurred while she was vacationing in the British Virgin Islands. Never married, she leaves a partner, Michele Granda, her father and a brother.
