El Salvadorian painter, sculptor and engraver. Deserving of numerous artistic awards both in El Salvador and abroad. He was awarded with the first National Prize of Culture in 1976, that the award was established. He participated in solo and group exhibitions in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, United States and Spain. In the late eighties was the victim of glaucoma, a disease that caused the gradual loss of sight.
He died at age 90 in San Salvador, on August 21, 1993.
