          José Cintabelde Pujazon's Biography

          Spanish criminal, famous in Cordoba during the late nineteenth century for having committed one of the most gruesome murders in the history of the city. On 27 May 1890 when he was 25, he murdered two men, a woman and two children near Puentecillo in Jardinito, after being caught when stealing to get money for a bullfight to celebrate that day in Plaza Bullring of Tejares. Arrested at the exit of the square, he was executed by garrote on 6 June 1891 at 8.45 am on a scaffold that was installed in the door of Seville. It was the last public execution took place in Cordoba.
