          John D. Jr. Rockefeller's Biography

          American noted family, the only son and heir to one of the world’s greatest fortunes. A business associate of his dad, John D. Sr., he devoted most of his adult life to extending the philanthropic work started by his father. He worked with and promoted the Rockefeller Center in New York. He and his wife had six kids.
          Rockefeller died of pneumonia on 11 May 1960 at the age of 86 in Tucson, Arizona.
