          Johann Georg von Brandenburg-Jägerndorf's Biography

          German royalty, an administrator of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Strasbourg, and a Duke of Jägerndorf.
          He was born to Joachim Frederick, Elector of Brandenburg, and his first wife Catherine of Brandenburg-Küstrin.
          On 3 June 1610 he married Eva Christine of Württemberg (May 6, 1590 – March 18, 1657), the daughter of Duke Friedrich I of Württemberg (1593-1608) and Sibylla of Anhalt (1564-1614). They had the following children: Katharine Sibylle (1611-1612), Georg (1613-1614), Albrecht (1614-1620), Catherine Sibylle (1615-1615) and Ernst von Brandenburg (1617-1642).
          John George of Brandenburg-Jägerndorf died on 2 March 1624.
