          Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's Biography

          French professional tennis player, a member of the Tennis Club de Paris (TCP), his career-high ATP singles ranking is world No. 5, which he achieved in February 2012. He is nicknamed the Muhammad Ali of tennis.
          He turned pro in 2004 and a few years later had made his way into the company of the top players of the day. He won the 2014 Canadian open, defeating Roger Federer in the final. After having won in Rotterdam and Marseille, he was ranked world no. 7 in February 2017.
          He won a Silver medal in the men’s doubles event at the 2012 Olympics. After several injuries, he decided to play his last French Open in May 2022 before retiring. Tsonga remains second highest on the list of French prize money winners behind Yannick Noah.
