          Jim (1935) Jones's Biography

          American football defensive back who played one season with the Los Angeles Rams (1958) of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Washington and attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. Jones was also a member of the BC Lions (1960-1961) and Oakland Raiders (1961).
          Jones died, aged 47, on 5 October 1982 in King County, Washington after a scuba diving accident near Seattle, Washington. He was an insurance agent at the time of his death.
