          Henri Rocher's Biography

          French surgeon and medical writer known for the “Rocher sign,” defined as the forward or backward sliding of the tibia indicating laxity or tear of the anterior or posterior cruciate ligaments of the knee. He was a Member of the Academy of Medicine, elected correspondent for the Division of Surgery on 20 November 1951. He died in Bordeaux on 4 November 1957, aged 81.
