          Helene Voigt-Diederichs's Biography

          German writer.
          Voigt learned in Florence by the publisher Eugen Diederichs, whom she married in 1898. They have 4 children and divorced in 1911 following scandals with Max Scheler and Erich Kuithan
          In 1897 her first novel was published. Her novel three quarter of an hour ‘before Day was honored in 1905 with the Lower Saxony Culture Award. She correspondent with Hermann Hesse, William Holzamer and Nina Mardon.
          Numerous works Voigt-Diederichs belong to local literature and presented the rural life of farmers and the idyllic life in nature represent as 1907 it was praised for. Her novels and short stories were the era of National Socialism well received by the National Although Voigt-Diederichs was considered a liberal and never joined the Nazi Party in 1944 became one of two authors in the so-called ” God-gifted list ” of Adolf Hitler.
          She died 3 December 1961.
