Dutch astrologer and founder of The Glastonbury Experience Centre in England with her husband Willem Koppejan. Helene and her husband co-wrote “The Zodiac Image Handbook.”
She was the daughter of Carel Albert van Woelderen (12 july 1877- 30 Jan 1951), who was the mayor of Vlissingen (Flushing) between 1919 and 1945.
On 3 April 1970 she married Willem Koppejan in England. She was an admirer and friend of Dane Rudhyar who she first met in 1958 in Hollywood. After her husbands death in 1979, it was Dane Rudhyar who stimulated her to finish the three Volumes of the Zodiac Image Handbook (Element Books UK 1990). A Dutch translation appeared between 1989 and 1991 as “Beeldgids van de dierenriem”.
