          Hec Dyer's Biography

          American athlete, winner of a gold medal in the 4×100 m relay at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Dyer ran the third leg in the American relay team, which won with a new world record of 40.0. Hector Dyer died on 19 May 1990 in Fullerton, California, aged 79.
