German bookseller, writer and occultist. Gregorius was founder of the Fraternitas Saturni.
In the autumn of 1923 Eugen Grosche began to hold astrological and occult courses in Berlin with a small circle of interested people. This led to the foundation of the’astrological-esoteric working group’ in 1924. However, internal disputes led to the dissolution of the group in the same year. Eugen Grosche and Hans Müller, among others, founded the’Esoteric Lodge School’ on 1 October 1924. At the same time, on 16 December 1924, the’Panophische Loge der lichtsuchenden Brüder, Orient Berlin’ was founded. Heinrich Tränker was the founder of this panophical society. When Aleister Crowley wanted to be proclaimed ‘World Saviour’ in 1925, there was a dispute between Heinrich Tränker and Aleister Crowley at the so-called Weida Conference. The disputes led to the dissolution of the Berlin local lodge of the Panophical Society on 1 April 1926. Gregor A. Gregorius founded the Fraternitas Saturni shortly afterwards on May 8, 1926, together with four other former Panophists, with him as Grand Master. This was the first thelemical organization independent of Crowley and the Ordo Templi Orientis.
He died 5 January 1964 in Berlin.
