          Gerald Pitchforth's Biography

          British astrologer at the hub of the London astrological scene along with Carter, Hone and Jeff Mayo, among others. He considered it a great day in April 1930 when he moved to London in search of treatment for a speech impediment. His cure took several years while he lived in a residential hotel. When Pitchforth went to see Cheiro, he was counseled to take up astrology, which he did. His astrological interest leaned toward the Stock Market analysis, medical research and horse racing results.He became one of the first members of the Astrological Association.
          During WW II, he served in the Civil Engineer Corps. He was sprightly and alert even after he completed a century of living. In 2000, at age 98, after he was introduced to speak at a conference in London, he began, “Well, I’ve been studying astrology for most of my life and it does not seem to have done me any harm!”
          He died in Bournemouth, England on February 26, 2005 at the age of 103.
