          George Terlep's Biography

          American football player, coach, and general manager who was on a college national championship team at Notre Dame in 1943 and won another championship while playing for the Cleveland Browns (1948) in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). He also played for the Buffalo Bills (1946–1948). Terlep also won two Grey Cup championships in the Canadian Football League (CFL), once as an assistant with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and once as the general manager of the Ottawa Rough Riders.
          Terlep left football in 1962 and returned to his hometown, where he worked in the mobile homes business. He retired in 1985 to Florida, where he died on 17 May 2010, aged 87, in Hudson. He was inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
