          Georg Albert Dorschfeldt's Biography

          German painter known for his lush images of flowers (opulent bouquets), landscapes (mountain pastures) and people (portraits and nudes).
          He attended the painting school of Lovis Corinth and studied painting and art history at the art academies in Berlin, Munich and the prestigious private Académie Julian in Paris.
          In 1935, Dorschfeldt was commissioned to produce four carpet designs for the “Haus der Flieger” (today the House of Representatives) in Berlin, as well as frescoes in the Berlin market halls.
          He died on 20 August 1979 in Immenstadt, aged 89.
