          Gad Elmaleh's Biography

          Moroccan-Canadian stand-up comedian and actor who achieved fame in France, Morocco and the USA. He is best known in the French-speaking world and was voted the funniest person in France.
          He has starred in several feature films, including Priceless (2006), La Doublure (2006), Coco (2009) and Midnight in Paris (2011).
          In 2015 and 2018, Elmaleh did national comedy tours across the United States. In 2019, he starred in the Netflix series Huge in France.
          He was named knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture; he was also named knight of the National Order of Quebec.
          He is the son of David Elmaleh, a Moroccan Berber Jewish mime artist, and a French woman, Régine Aymard. As a teenager, he studied in Montréal, Canada and Paris, France. Gad has a sister, Judith (1969) and a brother, actor Arié Elmaleh (1975).
          Elmaleh lived with French actress Anne Brochet from 1998 to 2002 and they have one son, Noé, model (born in 2000) and then lived with dancer Aurélie Dupont (2002-06). From 2009 to 2010, his partner was the French journalist Marie Drucker. He was in a relationship with Monégasque model Charlotte Casiraghi from December 2011 until June 2015. Their son, Raphaël, was born on 17 December 2013. In 2019, jewish Elmaleh decided to go over to Rome.
