          Ford Garrison's Biography

          American professional baseball player and coach, nicknamed “Rocky” and “Snapper”. An outfielder, he threw and batted right-handed, stood 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) tall and weighed 180 pounds (82 kg). He appeared in 185 games in Major League Baseball for the Boston Red Sox (1943–1944) and Philadelphia Athletics (1944–1946).
          Ford Garrison died on 6 June 2001 at the age of 85 in Largo, Florida.
