Ferdinand Strøm's Biography
Norwegian dentist and forensic odontologist who taught at the University of Oslo. In 1950 he was appointed forensic expert of questions pertaining to odontology, and from 1952 to 1962 he was chairman of the Committee on Dental Aspects of Forensic Medicine at the international dentistry association. He was editor of the magazine Munnpleien (‘Oral tending’) 1936-1940, and of NTF’s Tidende 1959-1964. In 1971 he was awarded the King’s Medal of Merit (gold).
Strøm died on 29 November 1990 in Oslo, Norway. He was 87.
