          Ernst Olbers's Biography

          Swedish clergyman. Olbers was a student at Lund University in 1856, earning his Bachelor of Arts and a PhD. He was a lecturer in pedagogy and methodology in Stockholm and from 1868 to 1979 served as rector there. He published a large number of sermons, lectures and speeches. From 1871 to 1880, he was co-editor of “Educational Magazine” with Hans Ferdinand Hult. He was the nephew of the theologian Carl Olbers. He died October 25, 1919 in Stockholm.
