Endres Dürer's Biography
German goldsmith and silversmith, also known as Andreas Dürer, Andreas Thuerer, Andreas Turer and Enndres Turer.
He was the 14th child of the Goldsmith Albrecht Dürer senior and his wife Barbara as well as the brother of the painters Albrecht Dürer junior and Hans Dürer. In 1497 he began an apprenticeship as a goldsmith, likely taught by his father.
Endres Dürer married the widowed Ursula Hirnhofer, and they had two daughters, Anna and Constantia.
Endres Dürer was drawn at least twice by his famous brother Albrecht.
He died in Nürnberg on 21 April 1555, aged 70.
